Artpod reserves the right to alter terms and conditions without prior notice.

By enrolling yourself or your child (‘Participant’) you, the legal guardian of the Participant (‘you’ or ‘your’), agree to the following terms and conditions:

Fees & Payments

Class fees are listed on our website where you can book and pay online. Payment in advance is required to secure a place in the chosen workshop or course. If you prefer to pay with a bank transfer online, please contact the Director & Founder Artpod Karen on 0407 422 788 or karen@artpod.com.au in advance, to avoid overbooking a class: Artpod BSB: 306-050 Acc: 0696717 with your name and details included to identify the payer. At the time of booking a party or private class, a non- refundable 30 % deposit will be required to secure your chosen date and time. The balance of payment is to be paid prior to commencing that class.

Refunds

If the course is cancelled due to insufficient numbers or inability to provide a teacher for that course or workshop, you will be notified and offered the choice of a full refund or enrolment in an alternative course.

If a class or classes are missed by the participant for whatever reason, you are not entitled to a discount, refund or ‘make up’ class. However, a make up time may be offered at the discretion of the staff here at Artpod.

COVID-19

Should COVID-19 circumstances change and we are no longer able to run the classes by law, you will receive a refund for the cancelled classes (i.e. if 2 out of 4 of the classes have been cancelled, you will receive a refund of 50% of the total course enrolment cost). In the case that we are able by law to continue running the classes but you make a personal choice to not attend, you will not receive a refund.

Student Conduct

Artpod is a shared creative space, so students are expected to demonstrate safe and respectful conduct during all classes. The Director at ARTPOD reserves the right to dismiss a participant without a refund, if they are deemed to be disruptive or disrespectful to other students / teachers; or if they misuse property or equipment here at Artpod.

Attendance

Designated times for start and finish of the classes/workshops needs to be respected for smooth transitions between workshops and management of the space. Drop off and pick up is at the front door, five minutes before commencement of the class. Use of hand sanitiser positioned at the front door is recommended to be used by all participants entering the space. No responsibility or liability is taken for the Participant before or after set class times. It is your responsibility to ensure the Participant arrives and leaves the class safely.

Safety

The Participant must be appropriately attired and although aprons will be provided, ARTPOD will not be responsible for any damage or marking on the participants clothes.

Medical

In the event that ARTPOD provides food or beverages (for example, afternoon tea), the Participant takes full responsibility for the food they consume and any consequences such as allergic reactions. You are required to notify ARTPOD if the Participant has any food allergies or intolerances or specific behavioural conditions or medical concerns.

In any situation where emergency services are deemed necessary for a Participant by ARTPOD staff, (such as an ambulance), you are then responsible for all costs and indemnity and hold us harmless.

Provisions

All materials are provided by ARTPOD inclusive of art supplies, tools, easels and aprons. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and snacks to their class or workshop. Water, tea and coffee are available during classes for adults.

Gift Certificates ‘Purchased’ gift certificates are valid 12 months from the date of purchase or until the date listed on the certificate. Our Cancellation and Refund policy apply to ‘Purchased’ gift certificates used to pay for classes.

Photography

ARTPOD may take photographs or video of the Participants and their creations. These photographs or video may be used for promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media platforms and website content. As a condition of Enrolment, your consent is implied. If you do not wish us to take and use photos of you, your child or your artwork, please notify us in writing.
