A 5 Week exploration of printing and designing amazing artwork with colour and pattern
Suitable for ages 6+
This creative process involves lots of exploration of colour in different mediums:
Overlapping torn tissue paper and discovering what other colours appear, photocopied to cover a sketchbook to keep and use.
Printing a design in scratchfoam on top of a colour printed background and then embellish with posca pens for a unique paper bag.
Learn about the colourful chameleon and draw and colour with slick pens.
Camouflage it in a collaged environment to protect it in the wild.

5 Week term to Explore Mexican Folk Art and make a paper mache sculpture of a fantastical creature (called an Alebrijie) full of colour, pattern and personality! Leave with something you can be so proud of!

Building a base armature in wire ( skeleton)
Creating the form and pose pof the animal using paper and tape (body & muscles)
Paper mache the form (skin )
Decorate in a wild assortment of materilas like ribbons, wool, pipe cleaners, jewels etc etc etc (all the special features that bring them to life)
